Ingredients
  

1 package refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup marinara sauce

1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup mini pepperoni slices

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Olive oil for brushing

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Grated Parmesan cheese for topping (optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil.

    On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about 1/4 inch thickness.

      Use a round cookie cutter or the top of a glass to cut out rounds of dough, approximately 3 inches in diameter. You should get 12-15 rounds from one package of dough.

        Place each dough round into the cups of the greased muffin tin, pressing down gently to form a small cup.

          Spoon about 1 teaspoon of marinara sauce into each dough cup.

            Add a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.

              Layer in the mini pepperoni slices until each cup is filled, then top with another small sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.

                In a small bowl, mix the Italian seasoning and garlic powder together. Lightly brush the edges of the dough with olive oil and sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the tops.

                  Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the edges of the dough are golden brown.

                    Remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the pizza minis cool for a few minutes before gently popping them out.

                      If desired, top with fresh basil leaves and a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor before serving.
