Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with heart-shaped paper liners.

    Mix the Dry Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

      Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).

        Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

          Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk. Start and end with the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
