Ingredients

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb ribeye steak, cut into thick slices

3 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1 bell pepper (red or yellow), sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)

1 lime, juiced

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Marinate Shrimp and Steak: In a medium bowl, combine the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and half of the minced garlic. Toss to coat. In a separate bowl, rub the ribeye steak with the remaining Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Allow both to marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.

Cook the Steak: Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, place the ribeye steak on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if desired. Remove from heat, cover, and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet or on the grill, add the remaining olive oil and butter. Once melted, add the sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

Cook the Shrimp: Add the garlic and shrimps to the skillet with the vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Finish with Corn: Stir in the corn and lime juice into the mixture. Let everything heat together for an additional 1-2 minutes and check for seasoning. Adjust with salt and pepper as needed.

Serve: Slice the rested ribeye steak against the grain. On a large platter, arrange slices of steak alongside the Cajun shrimp and sautéed vegetables. Garnish with chopped parsley.
