Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef (80/20 blend)

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices of pepper jack cheese

4 brioche hamburger buns

1 avocado, sliced

1 cup arugula or spinach

½ cup spicy mayo (mix mayonnaise with sriracha)

Pickled jalapeños (optional, for extra kick)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

    Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each one to prevent puffing during cooking.

      Preheat a grill or frying pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the burger patties and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side.

        Flip the patties and place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each one. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the burgers reach your desired doneness.

          While the burgers are cooking, toast the brioche buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

            To assemble the burgers, spread a generous amount of spicy mayo on the bottom half of each bun.

              Place the cheesy burger patty on top, followed by a few slices of avocado, a handful of arugula or spinach, and any pickled jalapeños as desired.

                Top with the other half of the bun and serve immediately.
