In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 3–4 minutes.
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is combined and heated through.
Transfer the meat and vegetable mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the meat mixture.
Carefully arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, before serving.
