When you want a succulent steak recipe, start with the right cuts. Ribeye steaks are my go-to choice. They have great marbling that adds flavor and juiciness. You can also use sirloin or filet mignon if you prefer a leaner cut. Both options work well and taste amazing.

Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1-inch thick)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Pat them dry with a paper towel, then season generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

Sear the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks to the pan, searing them for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130°F for medium-rare).

Rest the Steaks: Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a plate and cover loosely with aluminum foil. Let them rest while you prepare the sauce. This allows the juices to redistribute within the meat.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet used for the steaks, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Combine Sauce Ingredients: Add the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce to the skillet. Stir well to combine and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Final Seasoning: Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. If you want it a bit thicker, let it simmer for another minute or so.

Serve: Slice the steaks against the grain and place them on serving plates. Drizzle the garlic cream sauce generously over the top.

Garnish and Enjoy: Sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley for a pop of color and serve immediately.
