Ingredients

1 cup warm milk (about 110°F)

1 packet (2 ¼ teaspoons) active dry yeast

1/3 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for filling)

1 cup strawberries, diced

1/2 cup chopped pecans

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon butter (for brushing)

Instructions

In a small bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract.

Pour the yeast mixture into the bowl and mix well.

Gradually add in the flour and salt, stirring until a dough begins to form.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Meanwhile, prepare the cheesecake filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth.

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle (about 16x12 inches).

Spread the cheesecake filling evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.

Sprinkle the diced strawberries, chopped pecans, and cinnamon evenly over the cheesecake filling.

Starting from one long side, carefully roll the dough into a log shape. Slice the dough into 12 equal rolls.

Arrange the rolls in a greased baking dish. Cover with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.

Once baked, brush the tops with melted butter and let cool slightly before serving.

Prep Time: 30 minutes | Total Time: 2 hours | Servings: 12 rolls

                                - Presentation Tips: Drizzle with a simple icing made from powdered sugar and milk, and garnish with whole strawberries and a sprinkle of chopped pecans for extra flair. Serve warm for the best experience!
