Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (about 1 inch thick)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup bourbon-flavored extract (non-alcoholic)

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season both sides of the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to ensure even cooking.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a cutting board, loosely tented with foil.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Add Bourbon Extract: Pour in the bourbon-flavored extract, scraping up the brown bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.

Creamy Goodness: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and smoked paprika. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 5-7 minutes until it thickens, stirring occasionally.

Serve: Slice the rested steaks and arrange on a serving platter. Drizzle the bourbon garlic cream sauce generously over the top.

Garnish: Sprinkle chopped fresh parsley over the steak for a pop of color and added freshness.
