Ingredients

1.5 lbs chuck roast

1 packet (1 oz) ranch dressing mix

1 packet (1 oz) au jus gravy mix

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1/2 cup pepperoncini peppers, sliced (with some juice)

1 tablespoon olive oil

8 oz egg noodles

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

Sear the Beef: In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper, then sear it on all sides until browned, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.

Prepare the Braise: In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add beef broth, ranch dressing mix, au jus gravy mix, and sliced pepperoncini (along with some juice) to the skillet. Stir well.

Add the Beef: Return the seared chuck roast to the skillet, ensuring it is submerged in the liquid.

Slow Cook: Cover the skillet and reduce the heat to low. Let the beef cook for about 3 hours, or until it is tender and shreds easily with a fork. Alternatively, you can use a slow cooker for this step on low for 6-8 hours.

Cook the Noodles: About 15-20 minutes before the beef is done, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Shred the Beef: Once the beef is cooked, remove it from the skillet and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded beef to the skillet and stir well to combine with the sauce.

Combine: Add the cooked egg noodles to the beef mixture in the skillet. Toss everything together until the noodles are well coated in the savory sauce.

Serve: Place the savory beef noodles onto plates or in shallow bowls. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color.

                  Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 3 hours 20 minutes | Servings: 6

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve in deep bowls with a sprinkle of extra parsley on top for freshness. A side of steamed vegetables would complement the dish beautifully!
