Savory Creamy Chicken Alfredo Tater Tot Casserol

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

2 cups fettuccine or alfredo sauce

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions
 

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cooked chicken, alfredo sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.

      In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread the mixture evenly across the bottom.

        Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken alfredo mixture, spreading them out evenly to cover the entire surface.

          Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the tater tots. Make sure to cover them well for a cheesy crust.

            Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

              Once finished, remove the casserole from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

                Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, for a pop of color and added flavor.
