Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb ribeye steak or flank steak, thinly sliced

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the cheese tortellini according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

While the tortellini cooks, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced steak and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and green bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until they become tender. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Return the cooked steak to the skillet, mixing it with the sautéed vegetables.

Reduce the heat to medium-low, and pour in the heavy cream. Stir gently to combine, allowing the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Gradually add in the provolone cheese, stirring until melted and the sauce becomes creamy. Mix in the Italian seasoning and grated Parmesan cheese for added flavor.

Finally, gently fold in the cooked tortellini, ensuring each piece is coated in the creamy provolone sauce. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through.

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve the tortellini in shallow bowls or plates, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for a pop of color. Add extra grated Parmesan on top for an elegant finish.
