Ingredients

1 lb breakfast sausage, casings removed

8 large eggs

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 oz)

Fresh chives, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the Sausage: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the breakfast sausage until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and set aside.

Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Scramble the Eggs: In the same skillet used for the sausage, pour in the egg mixture. Cook over low-medium heat, gently stirring until just set but still slightly soft, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from heat.

Combine Ingredients: Add the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese to the scrambled eggs, stirring until the cheese melts into the mixture.

Roll the Crescent Dough: Unroll the refrigerated crescent roll dough into triangles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Fill the Rolls: Place a generous spoonful of the sausage, egg, and cheese mixture at the wider end of each triangle. Roll the dough tightly from the wide end to the point, sealing in the filling.

Bake: Arrange the rolls on the baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and flaky.

Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped chives before serving.

Prep Time: 15 min | Total Time: 30 min | Servings: 8 rolls

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve the breakfast rolls warm on a platter, accompanied by a side of fresh fruit or a small bowl of salsa for extra flavor.
