Ingredients

1 pound breakfast sausage, crumbled and cooked

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes and green chilies (Rotel), drained

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 package refrigerated crescent roll dough

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked breakfast sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly blended.

Unroll the crescent roll dough on a clean surface and separate it into the pre-cut triangles.

Place a generous spoonful of the sausage and cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle. Sprinkle a small amount of shredded cheddar cheese over the filling.

Roll the crescent from the wide end to the point, making sure to seal the filling inside the dough.

Arrange the rolled crescents on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crescents are golden brown and flaky.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 12 crescents

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve the crescents warm on a platter, garnished with some fresh cilantro or parsley. Offer a side of additional diced tomatoes and green chilies for dipping. Enjoy!
