Ingredients

3 ripe bananas, mashed

2 cups whole wheat flour

1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup

1/4 cup almond milk (or any milk of choice)

2 large eggs

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)

1/4 cup dark chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas with the Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and eggs. Mix until well combined and smooth.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, protein powder, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the banana mixture, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Fold in the almond milk, chopped nuts, and dark chocolate chips if using. Ensure everything is evenly distributed.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top using a spatula.

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Slice and serve the banana bread, enjoying it plain or with a spread of nut butter if desired.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes | Servings: 10 slices

                      - Presentation Tips: Serve warm with a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of honey on top for added flair. Wrap slices individually for a healthy on-the-go snack!
