Ingredients

1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1 cup granulated sugar

4 cups water

2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender buds

Pink food coloring (optional)

Edible lavender flowers for garnish (optional)

Ice cubes

Instructions

Infuse the Lavender: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and the dried lavender buds. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.

Strain the Infusion: After steeping, strain the lavender-infused water through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl to remove the buds. Discard the buds and let the infusion cool.

Make the Lemonade Base: In a pitcher, combine the lemon juice, granulated sugar, and the cooled lavender infusion. Stir well until the sugar completely dissolves.

Add Water and Mix: Pour in the remaining 3 cups of cold water and stir to combine. For an extra pop of color, add a drop or two of pink food coloring and mix until you reach the desired shade.

Chill and Serve: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour to chill. Serve over ice and garnish with edible lavender flowers for an elegant touch.

            Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes | Servings: 4-6

              - Presentation Tips: Serve in tall glasses with ice, and place a sprig of fresh lavender on the rim for a fragrant decoration. Add lemon slices on top or stick them to the glass for an eye-catching garnish.
