Ingredients

8 oz penne pasta

1 tbsp olive oil

1 pound sirloin steak, thinly sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

1 red bell pepper, sliced

1 medium onion, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup cream cheese, cubed

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced sirloin steak and season with salt and pepper. Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes, or until browned but not fully cooked. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables are softened.

Add the uncooked penne pasta to the skillet, followed by the beef broth and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet, and let it cook for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked al dente and the liquid is mostly absorbed. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

Once the pasta is cooked, add the cream cheese and the seared steak back into the skillet. Stir everything together until the cream cheese is melted and incorporated, creating a creamy sauce.

Remove the skillet from the heat and mix in the shredded provolone cheese until melted and bubbly. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 4

                  - Presentation Tips: Serve directly from the skillet for a rustic look, or portion into bowls and sprinkle extra provolone cheese on top, broiling for a few minutes for a deliciously gooey finish. Enjoy!
