Add the sliced turkey sausage to the skillet. Brown the sausage for about 5-7 minutes, stir occasionally until it's cooked through.
Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle simmer.
Gently add the frozen pierogi to the skillet, ensuring they are submerged in the liquid. Cover the skillet and cook for 8 minutes.
After 8 minutes, uncover and stir carefully. Pour in the heavy cream, add smoked paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Simmer for another 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Add the chopped spinach and stir until wilted (about 2 minutes). If desired, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top and cover the skillet for a minute to melt the cheese.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
