Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups chicken broth

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 cup heavy cream

8 oz egg noodles

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper on both sides.

In a large skillet or frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Add the seasoned chicken thighs to the skillet and sear for about 5-6 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.

Stir in the Italian seasoning and heavy cream, then add the egg noodles to the mixture.

Return the chicken thighs to the pan, pushing them slightly into the noodles. Cover the skillet and simmer for about 10 minutes, or until the noodles are cooked and have absorbed some of the liquid.

Once noodles are tender, remove the lid and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the mixture, followed by the butter. Stir gently until combined and creamy.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve the dish family-style in the skillet for a rustic look, or portion out onto individual plates. Add an extra sprinkle of Parmesan on top and a lemon wedge on the side for a bright touch.
