Ingredients

8 slices of brioche bread

6 large eggs

1 cup milk

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cooked ham, diced

1 cup turkey or chicken breast, diced

1 cup shredded Swiss cheese

1/2 cup raspberry jam (for serving)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

Cut the brioche bread into cubes (about 1-inch pieces) and layer half of the cubes evenly in the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Sprinkle the diced ham and turkey over the bread cubes in the baking dish, then add half of the shredded Swiss cheese on top.

Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers, ensuring all the bread is soaked in the liquid.

Add the remaining bread cubes on top, pressing them down slightly to coat with the egg mixture.

Top with the remaining Swiss cheese.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and let it sit in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to allow the bread to absorb the egg mixture.

Once ready, bake covered for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the casserole is puffed up and golden brown on top.

Allow to cool slightly before serving.

                      Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 6-8

                        - Presentation Tips: Serve warm with a dollop of raspberry jam on the side and a sprinkle of fresh parsley on top for a pop of color. Enjoy!
