Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed

1 cup diced ham

1 large onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups cooked pasta (like penne or rotini)

2 cups marinara sauce

1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef and Italian sausage until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the meat mixture and sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the diced ham, cooked pasta, marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the meat mixture on the bottom. Sprinkle half of the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the top.

Layer the remaining meat mixture over the cheese, then top with the remaining cheeses and the grated Parmesan.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Once done, remove from the oven and let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
