Ingredients
  

1 lb ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)

1/4 cup finely chopped green onions

2 tablespoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons minced ginger

1/4 cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crunch)

1/4 cup soy sauce

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 tablespoon gochujang (Korean chili paste)

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 egg

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions
 

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped green onions, minced garlic, minced ginger, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, gochujang, rice vinegar, and egg.

    Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Use your hands to mix everything together until well combined, being careful not to overmix.

      Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

        Once mixed, form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a lined baking sheet.

          Bake the meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and have a nice golden color.

            Optional: For a charred effect, you can broil the meatballs for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.

              Remove from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

                Garnish the meatballs with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and fresh cilantro if desired.
