Ingredients

1 package of wonton wrappers

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Optional: crumbled bacon for topping

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or olive oil. Press each wonton wrapper into the muffin cups, forming a cup shape. You can use a small glass or your fingers to press them snugly.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well combined.

Spoon the cheese mixture into each wonton cup until they are filled to about 3/4 full.

If using, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top of the filled wonton cups for an extra savory touch.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes or until the wonton edges are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

Remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow the cups to cool for a few minutes before carefully removing them from the tin. You can use a knife to gently loosen the edges if needed.

Serve warm with a side of salsa or ranch dressing for dipping if desired.
