Ingredients

1 pound kielbasa sausage

2 ripe peaches, pitted and sliced

1-2 fresh jalapeños, thinly sliced (adjust based on heat preference)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the kielbasa on a cutting board. Carefully make deep, spaced cuts along the length of the sausage, about 1/2 inch apart, without cutting all the way through. This creates a hasselback effect.

In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade. Brush this mix over the kielbasa, ensuring it seeps into the cuts.

Stuff some slices of fresh peach and jalapeño into the cuts of the kielbasa. Work gently to avoid breaking the sausage apart.

Place the kielbasa on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Surround it with remaining peach slices and jalapeños for added flavor during cooking.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the kielbasa is heated through and has a nice caramelization. The edges should be crispy while the inside remains juicy.

Once out of the oven, let the kielbasa rest for a few minutes before serving.

Slice the kielbasa into thick rounds and garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
