Instructions
Start by slicing the avocados in half, removing the pits, and scooping the flesh into a food processor or blender.
Add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup or agave, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt to the food processor.
Blend the mixture on high until it is creamy and smooth, scraping down the sides as necessary. This should take about 1-2 minutes.
Taste the mousse and adjust sweetness, adding more maple syrup if desired. Blend once more to incorporate any additional sweetener.
Once the mousse is fully blended and creamy, spoon it into individual serving dishes or glasses.
Chill the mousse in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to set and allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
Serve chilled garnished with dairy-free chocolate shavings and fresh berries.
