Ingredients
  

1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 lb smoked sausage, sliced (your choice of chicken, turkey, or pork)

2 cups broccoli florets

4 cloves garlic, minced

1/3 cup honey

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium recommended)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Sesame seeds for garnish

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set this honey garlic sauce aside.

    In a large skillet or wok, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5 minutes, or until browned and slightly crispy, stirring occasionally.

      Add the broccoli florets to the skillet, and continue to sauté for about 4 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green and begins to soften.

        Push the sausage and broccoli to one side of the skillet. In the cleared space, add the shrimp in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.

          Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli. Toss everything together to combine well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to simmer and thicken slightly.

            Once everything is well coated and heated through, remove from the heat.
