Ingredients

4 bone-in pork chops (about 1 inch thick)

1/4 cup honey

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (optional, for added flavor)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, and ginger (if using). Set aside for the marinade.

Season the pork chops on both sides with salt and pepper.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the pork chops. Sear for about 3-4 minutes per side until they are beautifully browned.

Reduce the heat to medium and pour the honey garlic marinade over the chops. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, carefully turning the chops occasionally to coat them in the sauce. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

Once cooked, remove the pork chops from the skillet and let them rest for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, increase the heat to high for about 1-2 minutes to thicken the sauce, stirring frequently.

Serve the pork chops drizzled with the honey garlic sauce, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and lemon wedges on the side.
