2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup buttermilk

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Marinate the Chicken: In a medium bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes, or ideally 2-4 hours in the refrigerator to tenderize and infuse flavor.

    Prep the Coating: In another bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, black pepper, salt, and chopped parsley until well combined.

      Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

        Coat the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the buttermilk, allowing excess to drip off. Dredge each piece of chicken in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure the coating sticks well on both sides.

          Bake: Place the coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle the tops with olive oil to promote browning. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the crust is hot and golden brown.
