Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced apples, lemon juice, cinnamon, and brown sugar. Toss until the apples are evenly coated.
Spread the apple mixture into a baking dish (approximately 9x13 inches), ensuring even distribution.
In a separate bowl, combine the rolled oats, flour, melted butter, granulated sugar, salt, and nutmeg. Mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Pour the crumble mixture evenly over the apples in the baking dish, covering them completely.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.
For an extra treat, serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top!
