1 cup cremini or portobello mushrooms, sliced

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

Roast the Mushrooms and Onions: In a skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once hot, add the sliced mushrooms and onions. Sauté for about 8-10 minutes until the mushrooms are golden, and the onions are soft. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
