Ingredients

2 pounds chicken wings

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried parsley

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

In a large bowl, pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper. This helps achieve a crispy texture.

Place the seasoned wings on the baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through until they are golden brown and crispy.

While the wings are baking, prepare the garlic Parmesan sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant (be careful not to burn the garlic).

Stir in the dried parsley, oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. Remove the saucepan from heat and add the grated Parmesan cheese, mixing until well combined.

Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and place them in a large mixing bowl. Pour the garlic Parmesan sauce over the wings, tossing them until they are evenly coated.

Return the coated wings to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes to crisp them up even more.

Remove from the oven, garnish with freshly chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

                    Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 1 hour | Servings: 4-6
