Ingredients

1 pound pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt, to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Extra olive oil for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prep the Dough: On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough into strips about 1 inch wide and 6 inches long.

Knotting the Dough: Take each strip and tie it into a knot. Place the knots on the lined baking sheet, leaving some space between each one.

Make the Garlic Butter: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, dried oregano, chopped parsley, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Stir well.

Brush with Garlic Butter: Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over each knot, making sure to get into the crevices for maximum flavor.

Sprinkle Cheese: Evenly sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the knots.

Bake the Knots: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes or until the knots are golden brown.

Final Touch: Once out of the oven, give the knots a light drizzle of olive oil and a final sprinkle of salt if desired.

Serve: Serve warm with marinara sauce or garlic dipping oil on the side for a delicious treat.
