Ingredients

1 pound mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)

1 banana, sliced

1 cup Greek yogurt (vanilla flavored)

1 cup whipped cream

1/2 cup granola

1/2 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, pistachios), roughly chopped

3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Fruit: Rinse the mixed berries under cold water and pat dry gently. Slice the strawberries if they're large. Set aside.

Mix Yogurt Base: In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well until smooth and creamy.

Layer the Trifle: In a large glass bowl or individual serving glasses, start with a layer of the yogurt mixture at the bottom.

Add the First Layer of Fruit: Layer half of the mixed berries and banana slices over the yogurt.

Incorporate Granola: Sprinkle a thin layer of granola on top of the fruits for added crunch.

Repeat Layers: Add another layer of the yogurt mixture, followed by the remaining fruits and granola.

Finish with Whipped Cream: Top the trifle with whipped cream, smoothing it out gently.

Sprinkle Nuts: Generously sprinkle the chopped mixed nuts over the whipped cream for a delightful crunch.

Chill: Refrigerate the trifle for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to blend.

Garnish and Serve: Before serving, garnish with fresh mint leaves and a few extra berries on top for a beautiful presentation.
