Ingredients

1 package of refrigerated pizza dough (about 13.8 oz)

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

1/2 cup pepperoni slices

1/4 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped

1/4 cup onion, finely chopped

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)

Olive oil (for brushing)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Dough: On a clean surface, roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle (about 10x14 inches). Use a pizza cutter or knife to cut it into squares, approximately 3 inches by 3 inches.

Mix the Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, chopped green bell pepper, chopped onion, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder. Stir until well mixed.

Assemble the Pizza Bombs: Take one square of pizza dough and place about a tablespoon of the filling mixture in the center. Bring the corners of the dough together and pinch to seal tightly, forming a ball. Repeat with the remaining squares and filling.

Brush with Oil: Place the pizza bombs seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with olive oil to give them a lovely golden color when baked.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.

Serve: Allow the pizza bombs to cool slightly. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
