Ingredients

1 bag of Doritos (Nacho Cheese flavor)

1 pound ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning

1 cup water

1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed

1 cup corn (fresh or frozen)

1 cup chopped tomatoes

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa

2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1 avocado, diced (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until fully browned. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add taco seasoning and water to the skillet. Stir to combine and let it simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked meat mixture with black beans, corn, and chopped tomatoes. Mix well.

In a greased 9-inch pie dish, layer half of the Doritos at the bottom, pressing them down slightly.

Pour half of the meat and vegetable mixture over the Doritos, spreading it evenly.

Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture.

Add another layer of Doritos, followed by the remaining meat mixture, and top with the rest of the cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Serve with sour cream and salsa on the side, and garnish with chopped green onions and diced avocado if desired.
