Ingredients

2 cups frozen pierogi (potato and cheese variety)

1 pound kielbasa, sliced into ½-inch pieces

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon dried dill

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

In the bottom of the crockpot, layer half of the frozen pierogi evenly.

Add half of the sliced kielbasa on top of the pierogi.

Sprinkle half of the diced onion and half of the minced garlic over the kielbasa.

In a separate bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, dried dill, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Pour half of the soup mixture over the layers in the crockpot.

Repeat the layering with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onions, and garlic.

Pour the rest of the soup mixture over the top, ensuring everything is well-covered.

Cover the crockpot with the lid and cook on low for 4-6 hours or until the pierogi are tender and the kielbasa is heated through.

About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top of the casserole and re-cover the crockpot to allow the cheese to melt.

Once done, top with fresh parsley before serving for a burst of color and flavor.
