Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground pork

1 cup breadcrumbs

2 large eggs

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon black pepper (freshly cracked for best flavor)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1 jar (24 ounces) marinara sauce

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Meatball Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, grated Parmesan, minced garlic, black pepper, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, but do not overmix.

Form the Meatballs: Use your hands to shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. You should be able to make around 20-24 meatballs.

Sear the Meatballs (Optional): In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the meatballs in batches, cooking for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. This step adds depth of flavor but can be skipped if desired.

Transfer to the Crockpot: Place the browned (or raw if you skipped searing) meatballs into the crockpot. Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are all coated.

Cook: Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours, until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.

Serve and Garnish: Once cooked, gently stir the meatballs to coat them in the sauce. Serve them warm, garnished with chopped fresh parsley for added color and flavor.

Prep Time: 20 minutes | Total Time: 6-7 hours (including cooking) | Servings: 4-6

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the meatballs in shallow bowls, with extra marinara sauce on the side. Pair with crusty bread or pasta for a complete meal.
