1 tablespoon olive oil

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup beef broth

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley, for garnish

Sauté the Mushrooms: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and have released their juices. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

    Add Aromatics: Once the mushrooms are nicely browned, add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onion becomes translucent and fragrant.

      Season the Mixture: Stir in the fresh thyme, and season the mushroom mixture with salt and pepper to taste.

        Create the Creamy Base: Pour in the beef broth, stirring to combine, and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld together. Then, reduce the heat to low and slowly stir in the heavy cream.
