Ingredients

1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 medium onion, finely chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Sauté the Aromatics: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.

Cook the Beef: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the sliced beef to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until the beef is browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and dried thyme. Sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until the garlic is fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

Make the Sauce: Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes to reduce slightly.

Incorporate the Cream: Lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream. Let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce thickens to your desired consistency. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.

Serve: Once the sauce is ready, remove from heat. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
