Instructions
Start by placing the chicken breasts in the bottom of the crockpot. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, and chicken broth together until smooth.
Pour the cream cheese mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring they're well coated.
Add the sliced mushrooms and half of the chopped green onions to the crockpot, distributing them evenly over the chicken.
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and let it melt into the creamy mixture.
Once done, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks, mixing it into the sauce.
Serve warm, garnished with the remaining green onions and fresh parsley.
