Ingredients

1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 jalapeño, seeded and finely chopped

1/4 cup green onions, finely sliced

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon honey

1 tablespoon lime juice

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

In a medium saucepan, add the cranberries and 1/4 cup water. Cook over medium heat until the cranberries burst and soften, about 10 minutes. Stir occasionally and then remove from heat to cool slightly.

In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Once the cranberry mixture has cooled, fold it into the cream cheese mixture.

Add in the finely chopped jalapeño, green onions, cheddar cheese, honey, and lime juice. Stir until well combined.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the sweetness with more honey if desired.

Refrigerate the dip for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together.

Serve chilled or at room temperature with your choice of tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
