Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

8 oz medium shell pasta

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a spoon. Cook until browned, approximately 5-6 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

Sprinkle the beef with salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and paprika. Mix well to season the meat evenly.

Pour in the beef broth and bring the mixture to a simmer.

Add the shell pasta to the pot, stir well, and cover. Cook according to package instructions (usually about 8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally until the pasta is al dente.

Once the pasta is cooked, lower the heat and stir in the heavy cream until combined.

Gradually add the shredded cheddar cheese, stirring until melted and creamy. If the sauce is too thick, add a bit more beef broth to reach your desired consistency.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes to thicken up slightly. Serve warm.
