Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

8 ounces medium shell pasta

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup beef broth

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup frozen peas

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the shell pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In the same pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Add the ground beef to the pot and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon (about 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if necessary.

Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the pot to release any browned bits. Bring to a simmer.

Reduce the heat and stir in the heavy cream, shredded cheddar cheese, Italian seasoning, and frozen peas. Mix until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy.

Add the cooked shell pasta into the pot and gently fold it into the sauce until well combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Allow it to simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Remove from heat and let sit for a minute before serving.
