Ingredients

1 lb cooked chicken, shredded

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup crispy bacon bits

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp black pepper

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

1/4 cup green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, half of the cheddar cheese, bacon bits, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and black pepper. Mix until everything is well blended.

Spread the mixture evenly in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.

Layer the frozen tater tots on top of the chicken mixture in a single, even layer.

Sprinkle the remaining shredded cheddar cheese over the tater tots for an extra cheesy topping.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Carefully remove from the oven and let it cool for about 5 minutes.

Garnish with the chopped green onions before serving.

                    - Presentation Tips: Serve directly from the baking dish for a homestyle feel or scoop individual portions onto plates, garnishing with additional bacon bits and cheese for an appealing look.
