Ingredients

1 lb flank or skirt steak

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

8 slider buns

Optional toppings: sliced jalapeños, pickles, arugula

Instructions

Prepare the Steak: Season the flank or skirt steak liberally with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature to marinate.

Make the Cowboy Butter: In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, parsley, and chives. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated. Set aside.

Cook the Steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium rare, adjusting cooking time based on your desired level of doneness.

Rest and Slice the Steak: Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Then, slice it thinly against the grain.

Assemble the Sliders: Lightly toast the slider buns on the grill or in a pan. Spread a generous amount of cowboy butter on the bottom half of each bun. Add slices of the steak, and top with optional jalapeños, pickles, and arugula if desired.

Serve: Place the top half of the buns over the fillings and serve the sliders warm, with extra cowboy butter on the side for dipping.

Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 45 minutes | Servings: 8 sliders

                - Presentation Tips: Serve the sliders on a wooden cutting board lined with parchment paper for a rustic look. Garnish with extra fresh herbs for that added touch.
