Ingredients

1 lb flank steak

1 tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste

6 slider buns

4 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, sliced

2 avocados, sliced

1 cup arugula or baby spinach

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

2 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Prepare the Cowboy Butter: In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, chives, lemon juice, and garlic powder until well combined. Set aside for flavors to meld.

Cook the Steak: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Rub flank steak with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper. Grill or sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare (adjust time to desired doneness).

Rest the Steak: Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute for a tender bite.

Slice the Steak: After resting, slice the steak thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.

Assemble the Sliders: Toast the slider buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster. Spread a generous dollop of cowboy butter on the bottom half of each bun.

Layer the Ingredients: Add slices of steak, a slice of cheddar cheese, avocado, and a handful of arugula on top of each bun.

Finish with the Top Bun: Spread a little more of the cowboy butter on the top half of each bun, then place it atop the assembled sliders.

                Prep Time, Total Time, Servings:
