Ingredients

1 loaf of crusty French bread or Italian bread

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust for spice preference)

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional for a cheesy twist)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Slice the loaf of bread in half lengthwise to create two equal pieces.

In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined and creamy.

If you're adding Parmesan cheese, fold it into the butter mixture for a cheesy infusion.

Spread the seasoned butter generously over the cut sides of the bread. Make sure to cover every inch!

Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and crispy. For a crunchier texture, switch to broil for the last 2-3 minutes (keep an eye on it to prevent burning).

Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly before slicing into pieces.

                  Prep Time: 10 min | Total Time: 25 min | Servings: 8
