Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1-inch thick)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 cup beef broth

2 tablespoons heavy cream

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Pat the ribeye steaks dry with a paper towel. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper. Allow them to come to room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steaks to the pan and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and set aside on a warm plate to rest.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds, making sure it doesn't burn. Stir in the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, mixing well.

Add Broth and Cream: Pour in the beef broth, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Allow the liquid to simmer and reduce by half, approximately 3-4 minutes. Then, stir in the heavy cream and let cook for another 2 minutes until slightly thickened.

Finish the Sauce: Stir in the chopped parsley and adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Just before serving, swirl in the butter for a rich finish.

Serve: Slice the rested steaks against the grain and drizzle the creamy sauce over the top.
