Ingredients

1 can of crescent roll dough

1 cup cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried chives)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, chives, salt, and pepper. Mix until the ingredients are well incorporated.

Open the can of crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles according to the package instructions.

Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken and cheese mixture at the wide end of each crescent triangle.

Roll the crescent triangles starting from the wide end towards the tip, creating a roll while enclosing the filling.

Place the rolled crescent rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

In a small bowl, whisk the egg and brush it over the tops of the rolls for a golden finish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crescent rolls are golden brown and puffed.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Prep Time: 15 minutes | Total Time: 30 minutes | Servings: 8 rolls
