Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or a blend)

1 cup bell pepper, diced (any color)

1 small onion, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 large tortillas (flour or whole wheat)

½ cup sour cream (optional for serving)

Fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Salsa (for serving)

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and bell pepper and sauté for about 3 minutes until softened.

Add Garlic: Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute until fragrant.

Brown the Beef: Add the ground beef to the skillet. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Season: Sprinkle taco seasoning over the beef mixture. Stir well to combine and allow to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.

Add Cheese: Remove the skillet from heat and fold in the shredded cheese until melted and evenly distributed.

Assemble Wraps: Place about ¼ of the beef mixture onto each tortilla. Roll tightly, folding in the sides as you go to create a wrap.

Toast the Wraps: Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place the wraps seam side down and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until lightly browned and crispy.

Serve: Slice the wraps in half diagonally and serve warm with sour cream, salsa, and a sprinkle of chopped cilantro or parsley for garnish.
