Ingredients

12 oz cheese tortellini

1 lb sirloin steak, thinly sliced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 medium onion, sliced

1 green bell pepper, sliced

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup provolone cheese, shredded

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Tortellini: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the cheese tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add sliced onions and green bell peppers, cooking until they are softened (about 5 minutes).

Cook the Steak: Increase the heat to medium-high and add the thinly sliced sirloin to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through (about 4-5 minutes). Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.

Prepare the Sauce: Reduce the heat to medium and stir in the heavy cream. Allow to simmer for 2 minutes. Gradually mix in the shredded provolone cheese, stirring until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.

Combine Tortellini: Add the cooked tortellini to the skillet, gently tossing to coat them in the rich provolone sauce. Adjust seasoning if needed.

Serve: Remove from heat and let it sit for a minute. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
